2005: After graduating from Blue Springs High School in Blue Springs, MO, Hendrickson began his career at Southern Arkansas University. As a freshman, Hendrickson hit .349 with a .542 slugging percentage. His freshman summer, Hendrickson played in the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League for the Lehigh Valley Catz.

2006: In his sophomore year, Hendrickson hit .329 with an on base percentage of .542. Hendrickson was named to the All-Gulf South Conference Second Team. He also finished 6^th in the NCAA in walks, 2^nd in hit by pitches and 12^th in overall on base percentage. In his sophomore summer, Hendrickson played in the prestigious Alaskan League for the AIA Fire, managed by former major leaguer, Phil Plantier. Hendrickson hit .310 before a season-ending facial fracture.

2007: During his junior year, Hendrickson averaged .333 in 16 games before having a season-ending fracture of his left hamate. He was named Pre-Season All Gulf South Conference and also Southern Arkansas University Scholar- Athlete of the Year. In his junior summer, Hendrickson rehabbed in the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League for the Lehigh Valley Catz and carried an average of .302.

2008: Hendrickson transferred to Concordia University- Irvine for his senior year where he led the team in hitting with a .364 average as well as carried a fielding percentage of .993. He was named 2008 Golden State Athletic Conference Scholar Athlete. Hendrickson graduated from CUI Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Biology-Medical Science.

2009: In the summer of 2008, Hendrickson played professional fast pitch softball and participated in the NAFA Open World Series.

Currently going to school to become a Nurse Anesthetist.
